Globelink Ünimar (Turkey) was awarded the Great Place to Work certificate with its cultural transformation and the human resources strategies that it has developed. The certificate, which will be valid throughout 2022, was obtained as a result of the evaluations of the employees in the first year of participation of Globelink Ünimar.

Great Place to Work is a global independent and one of the world's most important human resources research institution. They have been evaluating the corporate culture and employee experience of companies since 1992.

The Slovenian Port of Koper is situated at the point, where the Mediterranean deeply penetrates the most into the European continent. On 29 December 2021, the Container terminal of the Port of Koper beat the previous container throughput record of 988,501 TEUs set in 2018. We will end 2021 with 996 thousand TEUs handled, which represents a new historic record. These can be reached by the A1, A3 and A11 motorways and over 20 international regular railway connections. Koper is also a port of call for many liner container services from the Mediterranean Sea, Far East and North America. In addition to the aforementioned regions, Africa, Carribean and North Sea are linked with the Slovenian harbour. Our IT capabilities through the website include:

  • LCL quotation tool

The Track and Trace system allows full traceability of export operations, from origin to destination, and ensures the safe delivery of your cargo. Customers will be able to access pictures of their cargo just 30 minutes after it has been delivered into our warehouse, and also able to inform if the end user has removed the goods from the destination warehouse. These unique features distinguish Globelink Slovenia as the market leader at the forefront of technologies development amongst the maritime neutral consolidators in Slovenia.

The LCL quotation tool allows forwarders to obtain a quick, accurate and customized quotation for any Import or Export service. Users can customize the quotations with their company logo and include any other information they require such as sailing schedules, LCL rates and contact details of agents/Globelink offices. This customized quotation can then be passed on directly to the final client.

  • For Export service, the tool is also able to provide a fast door (Ex-works) quotation online. Forwarders can then make bookings online and receive shipping instructions and confirmation directly via email.
  • For Import service, forwarders can also obtain a schedule with information on the devanning/stripping of the container.
